Mission

Nestled between several protected forests sits the 92 acres of Suydam Hills Farm. The site, which is monitored by the Columbia County Land Conservancy, contains a federally protected Freshwater Emergent and Forested wetland. These habitats provide precious ecosystems for local wildlife.

With this in mind, we are developing an agroforestry plan that improves the health and potential of the standing forest. In doing so, we seek to partner with the Columbia County Land Conservancy to create a model of conservation land management that regenerates landscapes and local economic opportunities. We hope to provide fresher, healthier food for our local community.
